Default Are character strings on a message rule case-sensitve?

I want to set up a message rule to block spam mail. I've already created a
list of keywords, but I would like to know whether OE treats "watch" is the
same as "WATCH" as well as "Watch".

Please help.

Rules are not case sensitive. On another note, block watch and you block
swatch. Block ass and you block bass, etc.

How to set up OE Message Rules:

Bruce,
Creating_Rules_in_Outlook_Express shows how to create a move to folder rule.
There is no mention of adding Stop processing more rules, so that site could
be better.

If I really want to block the word "watch", can I add a space in front of
the word, so OE can block both watch and watches?

What about punctuation such as a comma and full stop immediately before or
after the keyword?

TY. I probably haven't clicked on any of these links in a couple of years.
They're gone now.

What if someone (to who you wrote and then replied) mentioned about
setting a watchpoint in a debugger? Or when someone you know, like your
own family, mentions "Go watch the parade past your block tonight"? The
substring "watch" is not sufficient by itself to identify "watch spam".

Start investigating how to incorporate a spam filter program in your
e-mail setup. SpamPal is free. Did you enable the spam filter up on
the mail server for your mailbox?
