Default changing newslist name in OE6

Is there a utility that would permit me to change how OE lists the names of
newslists I am subscribed to?
"microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlook express"
is so long that the right end extends well past the space allotted to the
drop down folder list when I click on a folder to change folders. That makes
it undistinguishable from other
"microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer........ ." newsgroups.

Of course I can get to see the rest of the name by scrolling to the right
(which obscures newslist with shorter names).
Ideally, I would love to simply rename that folder to just "Outlook
Express".

Is there some utility that would permit doing that in the drop down list?

Thanks.

Jeff

View, Layout, check Folder Bar.
Selecting a folder, opens the folder and closes the folder list.
Clicking on the folder name in the folder Bar, opens the folder list.
For me the folder list is wider when opened from the folder bar.

That gave me an idea and work around.

You are correct that that when I open the folder list from View/layout it is
indeed wider. So I customized the OE toolbar by adding the icon to open the
folder list. By clicking on this icon the folder list now opens at the
wider size I set it to and I can now read the entire newslist name.
