Default Problems syncing with hotmail

Hi,

I am having trouble with my outlook express. I have set it to access my
hotmail account but when I got to download my messages, it doesn't seem to
recognise my password or log in details. Therefore it will not connect with
my hotmail account to download or upload messages?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Please state your IE versions and full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3)
when posting to this newsgroup.

Have you ever been able to access your Hotmail account in OE? Are you a
Hotmail Plus subscriber? Are you attempting to access the account via POP3
or WebDAV?

Default Problems syncing with hotmail

Window XP Pro, version 2002, service pack 2.

I'm a free hotmail account subscriber and can access my hotmail account
through OE with the same password I am trying to use with Outlook.

My incoming mail server is the default which is set as HTTP and my HTTP mail
service provider is set as Hotmail by default.

My hotmail account is linked to two other hotmail accounts and I wonder if
this could be a part of the problem? I only really want to access one of my
hotmail accounts with Outlook.

Thanks very much for your help.

We're dealing with OE only, here. OE and OL (Outlook) are not the same
application so please don't confuse them in your posts.

Please state your IE version...?

Have you ever been able to access [this] Hotmail account in OE [not OL]?
