No contacts displayed...will not display a new one...will not display imported address book HELP!!
 

Might you have more than 999 contacts in the address book? If so, the
Contacts Pane will be blank.

8 minutes later, the same post had text and received several replies.
The 999 contacts also includes the Shared contacts. Apparently, the number
of contacts in Shared contacts is added to the Identity contacts even if a
contact is a duplicate.
