When I go to oe, the hour glass stays on. Cannot click on tools/ options,
etc. Cannot open or delete the email.
Rest of Computer and internet explorer works.

Have tried restarting the computer and tried to close oe with task manager
but oe comes back with hour glass trying to do something.

I would like to delete the inbox which has two emails that will not open but
cannot get to the tools icon to find out where the inbox is located.

Do you believe these messages in your Inbox are causing the problem? And,
can you afford to lose all message in the Inbox? You post indicates you can,
so if ou can, with OE closed, delete Inbox.dbx from the message store. When
you open OE. a new, empty Inbox will be waiting for you.

To find the message store, do an Advanced search and include Hidden Files
and Folders, and search for:

*.dbx

Now you can follow the path in Windows Explorer and delete the Inbox.dbx.

yes, these messages would not open before and caused the hang up.
yes can loose all messages in inbox, we moved all the messages to be kept to
another folder. I was trying to follow your previous procedure on how to
delete messages while working off line.
will try tomorrow to find message store via search method and try to delete
inbox.
