Default Plugins for OE

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately the documentation sucks for this. They are supposedly going
to improve upon it for Vista.

I'm thinking of adding header fields that one could filter on for an updated
version of OEX. OE only gets certain fields, so I'd have to get that
additional information and then make rules accordingly.

If you have a specific request you can email me about it, but I'm rather
busy right now testing Vista and trying to keep them from releasing another
dog, when it comes to Windows Mail. Its looking good so far, if you ignore
the bugs, but then again so does OE6.

Steve,

Since you seem to be the main "writer of plugins", what is your thoughts
on a plugin which would allow a person to specify the header field to look
at (rather than using a preset list of headers)?

I haven't even heard of Vista before now.
Since you asked what I was interested in, here they a

1) Those created by SpamAssassin
X-Spam-Flag: YES
X-Spam-Level: *****
X-Spam-Status: Yes, score=5.0 required=5.0 tests=BAYES_99
autolearn=no
version=3.0.2

2) Those created by bogofilter
X-Bogosity: Spam, tests=bogofilter, spamicity=1.000000,
version=0.96.2

3) The Newsgroups header tag (specifically to count how many newsgroups
a message has been crossposted to)

4) NNTP-Posting-Host: - so that a simple spoof of the From line doesn't
avoid killfiles
