Corrupt folder names

I have just re-installed Windows XP Pro on a machine that was configured as
Greek. OE store folder was saved on a spare disk while this was happening.
Once all was OK, I pointed OE at the store folder and got everything back.
However, the standard folders (Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, Drafts, Deleted
Items) had gibberish names, as did the Local Folders.
I found Tom Koch's excellent & very helpful paper on File Corruption in OE,
and following his advice, I managed to get everything named properly.
EXCEPT for Deleted Items!!! Although I can see references in folders.dbx to
Deleted Items.dbx, the folder name in OE still shows as gibberish. Emails
that I delete go correctly into this folder, so it's all working fine, but
the name is not right.

Any ideas welcome!

Was a Greek-language version of WinXP installed previously and is it still a
Greek-language version?

1. Write down the location of the message store
(http://www.insideoe.com/files/store.htm#storemain).

2. Close OE.

2. Delete the file Deleted Items.dbx from the message store.

Yes, it was a "pirate" Greek-language version from a Greek dealer. Now it's
a genuine English-language version. I'll try deleting Deleted Items.dbx
again.

I ended up deleting all the standard .dbx files (Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items,
Deleted Items, Draft) AND the Folders.dbx file. When OE restarted, all was
well.

Thanks for the advice.
