How to create automatically a rule
Hi,
I try o create automatically a rule in the registery using a vbscript program. This rule must move all the emails having the object "*SPAM*" to a folder named "Spam" I try to look how outlook express 6.0 works. I notice that it creates some keys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{D20A875B-EDE6-4C13-BCD5-2B32F4048455}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\Rules\Mail\ So I make a program that recreate all theses keys(for example on an other computer) Everything works but.... It doesn't seems to reconize the destination folder Spam. When I edit the rule with outlook express, he ask me to select the destination folder. When I have done that, I notice that outlook modify the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{D20A875B-EDE6-4C13-BCD5-2B32F4048455}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\Rules\Mail\000\Actions\000 "Value"=hex:d0,99,c8,15,87,ae,c7,01,0b,00,00,0 0 I don't undersant this key, and I don't know how to calculate it. Thank you for your help. |
