Moving WAB from one computer to another

On computer one, I used the Registry Hack below so that when my Outlook
Express opens the Address Book, my outlook contacts will be shared. Then I
copied the .wab file to computer 2. None of the addresses came along.

Now I actually expected that because computer one only shares the
contacts... the contacts are not actually in my computer's Address Book
(.wab file).

So my question is this:
Is there an easy way for me to actaully get those outlook contacts in my
compturs address book so that I can copy the .wab from computer 1 to
computer 2?

Computer 2 does not use outlook (so that type of sharing is not used).
Thanks

Hi JCO,

If the (WAB) address book was shared with Outlook the entries would be
controlled by Outlook and be in a *.pst file. It should be possible to
export the address book entries as a comma-separated values file
(special format text file) from the Outlook Express File menu. Exporting
the entries would not work from the Windows Address Book itself. Group
folders will not export -- it will be all entries together.

Thanks for the input.
I knew I could do the export but I don't think the address book will import
anything.

there is no need for a registry patch.
there is an option in OE address book to share addresses with outlook.
once outlook sharing is turned on, outlook OWNS the address book.
choices are.
turn off sharing. export outlook contacts as CSV file and import to OE then export WAB from OE.
or
simply export outlook contacts as CSV file and then import that into OE ..
