making multiple contact entries from recipient list

I have rcvd an email from a club member.
I would like to put the TO list of people into my address book.
Preferably in a separate folder and as a new group.

1. Is there a way to add the whole recipient list to the address book?

2. Can I do it into a separate folder so I don't have to sort them out
later?

3 OR can I do it into a group - less preferable than 2.

I know how to make folders and move contacts and make groups, etc.

the issue is doing it with ALL the TO list at one time.

thx

It's going to take a bit of work.

I would start by creating a CSV (Comma Separated Values) text file of
the e-mail addresses. I don't know if you list also includes names. A
sample CSV with names would look like:

Name,E-mail Address
Bob
John

With just e-mail addresses

E-mail Address

You can look at the message source (Ctrl-F3), then copy/paste into
Notepad and edit.

Then import into a new empty WAB file
The Windows Address Book (WAB)
http://www.insideoe.com/files/wab.htm

You can either leave the entries there and use that WAB for mailings, or
copy/paste from there into the desired folder in your mail address book.

Not using an OE UI, no.

3 OR can I do it into a group - less preferable than 2.

Ditto.

The only option is ADD SENDER TO ADDRESS BOOK
that won't work!

I see two (2) options when I hover over "Add to Address Book" : "Sender" and
Everyone on TO list"

What's your Windows version? Is the machine fully patched at Windows
Update?

Hello,

What PA Bear is talking about is the menu option, not the right-click
option.

Double-click the mail to open in a new window, Tools Add to Address Book
"Everyone on To List"

Yes, I'm referring to a message that's been opened in a new window, not
being read in Preview pane.

Mine only shows "ADD SENDER TO ADDRESS BOOK"
as a single function. No hover options.
There is nothing else
Are you talking about the TOOLS menu in Outlook Express 6.0??????

WINXP SP2 and OE 6.0 with all current patches.

It seems to me like I did see that once upon a time long ago.

Wonder where it went???

OH, THANKS

I rarely "OPEN" my emails.

Now I see it. In fact, besides that it lists each recipient
separately.
