'Naming' a hyperlink

I know how to insert a hyperlink in an email document. But when I do so the
complete link shows. Is there a way to 'name' the link something and have
only that 'name' appear in the document but when the user clicks on it it
will take them to where the link 'points'?

For example, if I wanted to direct someone to www.google.com but only have
the word "google" in blue so that when the reader clicked on "google" it
would take them to the web site, how could I do that?

I'm running OE6.

Thanks for your help,

Mike

Copy the hyperlink with your cursor. Open the new message window ant type
the word(s) you want to use for the link. Highlight these words with the
cursor and then Insert | Hyperlink and Paste the link in the URL field |
OK.. The word(s) you highlighted will become the link.

Are you trying to do this using "plain text"? If so, just do what you
are doing, type the URL

If in Rich Text or HTML, highlight the word "google", then using the
menubar
Click on Inserthyperlink... and insert http://www.google.com in the
box click OK
and you're done

The source code looks like
A href="http://www.google.com"google/A

Same way. Just insert the graphic and highlight it the same way you highlighted the word.
