Removed folder - now can't put back w same name

Now, I'm trying to once again create a Kinfolks sub-folder, but OE is not letting me do that. I keep getting a pop-up that says, "An entry with this name already exists in your address book." I've compacted all folders, and rebooted the pc but still get the same results. How do I overcome this problem? I used to have both a sub-folder and a group with the name "Kinfolks." Jack
