Glitch in trying to insert an attachment

Hi everyone,

Just noticed a problem in OE. I am running xpsp2 and use OE6.

When I try to insert an attachment into a message and browse the hard drive
(say for a music file), it is not displaying all my sub folders under my
music (eg it is only listing the first five subfolders and won't list
anymore - I have eight subfolders under my music). I have tried everything
and have no idea what could be causing this. It worked okay just a few days
ago. I ran spy bot and adaware and everything is clean, and my virus
protection is always running.

Please advise. I can not use IE 7, since it locks up my machine, apparently
due to a conflict that I learned about, that MS IE 7 has with HP printers.
Anyway, my OE 6 always worked fine in the past, and I had no problems
browsing for a file to insert, until now. Also, I just noticed that the
dropdown menu for "insert" has now got more entries that are not "shaded".
Could this have something to do with a windows update "dicking" up
something.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks....Pete

At the bottom of the dialog box there is a down arrow. If you click that do
you have the option to Show All Files? And does that resolve it?

Oooooops. Sorry guys (and gals). Everything is okay. User error :-( . I
didn't notice the next batch of subfolders scrolling horizontally - shame on
me - damn it. The subfolders stopped at five going vertically and it gave
me a mindset that I couldn't get out of. Sorry again :-) ......Pete
