I have created an Identity for my home based
business. I used to keep e-mail folder on my personal identity. How can I transfer the business files to the new Identity. Thanks ! |

In OE: File | Import | Messages. Select Microsoft Outlook Express 6 and
Import from the old identity. This will bring in all folders, but you can just delete the ones you don't want in the new identity. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Bubey" wrote in message ... Thanks Bruce. When I delete the ones I don't need
in the new identity will they still remain in the old identity where I do still need them ? "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... In OE: File | Import | Messages. Yes. Since you have to use File | Identity | Switch Identity you will have a
separate message store. In each identity, go to Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store Folder and you will see that there are two different locations for the store folders. Business, or pleasure, it is always a good idea to back up OE daily. I would suggest getting this tool now. This freeware tool backs up everything in OE in seconds. Disregard what is written in red. That is referring to a different program. Outlook Express Quick Backup (OEQB): http://www.oehelp.com/OEBackup/Default.aspx -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Bubey" wrote in message ...
