Default outlook express will not connect with server

I have had one long nightmare with outlook express. I cannot send out any
email to my account with comcast and only text emails without attachments to
myway. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my mcafee 2007 virusscan. i have
contacted comcast. they all say the problem is with the outlook program.
since i have dell i cannot get real support without$. does anyone know how to
get this program to connect with the server and stop the stupid 0x800CCC0f &
0E error messages?

Default outlook express will not connect with server

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs, slows down sending and receiving, and
causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes
and has even been responsible for lose of messages. Your up-to-date A/V
program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see:

If that doesn't work, try with McAfee disabled. McAfee Norton do not work
well with OE.
