On one of me identities I get 17 files that I can't delete.
They are in c:\doc and settings\xxxx\local settings\temporary internet files. They look like this--res://C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msoeres.dll/tips_Y.gif There are multible files with the same name. Any ideas what the res:// stuff is? |

You could avoid them in two ways: 1. when opening OE always open in the Inbox. E.g. check When starting, go directly to my "Inbox" folder (Options, General tab; keystrokes: Alt-T,O,W) and then never go back to the root. 2. Use something other than the default FrontPagePath. E.g. for minimal additional files needed to render it substitute about:Blank in the following example: http://www.pctools.com/guides/registry/detail/874/ (Live Search for "outlook express" frontpagepath ) FYI Robert Aldwinckle --- |
