OE6 and ME
Is OE 6 compatible with ME? Have a friend with ME who is very comfortable
with it, but I was wondering if she could update her ver. 5 to 6. -- Maine

OE6 and ME
OE6 will work fine with ME. It is part of IE6, so that is what you need to
download. Make sure OE is backed up first, just in case. has IE6, but OE5. Wonder how that happened? So what do she do, install IE6 again? I believe that OE6 wasn't compatible with ME originally, but I think we

I was wondering if this might be the case so I've been watching this thread.
It sounds like someone reinstalled WinME without having first uninstalled IE6, so do NOT attempt to reinstall/overinstall IE6! I'm crossposting this reply to WinME General newsgroup. Maine, If you want OE6 back, try Control Panel Add/Remove Programs double-click Microsoft Internet Explorer seled "Add a component" tick Outlook Express Next follow the prompts and reboot when finished.
