How to avoid weird code for punctuation
Some of my correspondents' e-mail displays "smart" quotes and "smart"
apostrophes like this, making an e-mail unreadable: ’ “ Is this because of a setting in my e-mail program (OE6), or in the sender's e-mail program? I doubt the problem is my program, since I only have this problem with a few people. Is there a setting that can be changed in the sender's program (which could be anything, not necessarily OE) that avoids this problem? |
How to avoid weird code for punctuation
That can be caused by pasting text from Word (or using Word as the HTML
editor in Outlook).
