Move messages from OE6 to Hotmail?
I use Outlook Express 6 to access messages from a hotmail account. To save
space, I have been transferring emails from the msn-account to a local folder in Outlook Express. I would now like to transfer my emails back - from the local folder to the msn-account. When transferred back into the msn-account are displayed as having been received as per todays date. When opening an individual email, the correct received date is displayed, but I need to open them one by one to see the correct received date and time. How can I transfer emails back from a local folder to my msn-account and keep the correct received date? I I have over 5000 messages that now appear with the same received date in my Hotmail after having been transferred back from Outlook - this is causing me headaches and sleepless nights. Anyone? Please? |

I have the same issue. I moved a batch of mail to a local folder
(accidentally, I had intended to do a copy, but the right-click drag forced a move), and then moved the messages back, and viola, all the messages have the current date and time as received date. Any way to re-import the messages to sort by the correct received date would be greatly appreciated. I have the same issue. I moved a batch of messages to an local folder
and back online and the received date changed to the current date. Any solution to export and reimport these to correct the date would be greatly appreciated.
