I had Explorer 7 downloaded, decided I did not like it, so returned to my old
Explorer 6. On Outlook Express, the newsgroups disappeared. When I try to re-set them, I get an error message that says "Your NNTP server has not responded in 60 seconds, do you want to continue". Nothing else ever happens. The settings are the same as before and I had no problem accessing newsgroups. I went thru a session with the local provider (Time Warner) and the technician said it appeared to be a problem with IE. If there any help or suggestion out there... Thanks! |
