Default Change from Outlook to Outlook Express

Whenever i send pictures using any of the photo managers such as
Picasa it always uses OUTLOOK to send the pictures
and not OUTLOOK EXPRESS which i always used in the past. If i send or
receive e-mail it correctly uses Outlook Express which i want . The
problem only occurs with Photo software. How can i correct this

It's most likely that you've installed an Office update and that has reset
Outlook as your default mail program. Try this to fix it:

Go to Start | Run and type the following:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg
(Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure that is correct)

Make certain to include the quotations marks and the space between the
ending quotation mark and the slash.

Then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools\Internet Options\Programs and
set OE as the default mail (and news) program.

[I /think/ that Picasa requires a Full MAPI mail client...]

That could be. I only used it for a day or so until I uninstalled the POS.
