Messenger Integration with OE

I have Windows Messenger 5.1 and Outlook Express 6.0. I used to be able to
see my online Messenger contacts in OE, but since installing IE 7, the
Messenger integration with OE 6.0 seems to have disappeared. Is there
something wrong or is this by design?
