Error code 0x800CCC40
I started getting this error code two days ago and can't figure out what to
do. Running XP, McAfee Anti-Virus 10, Firewall 7 and Spamkiller 7. Anyone have ideas? Thanks |

The entire error message would help to determine this problem. That said, my
money is on McAfee. Get rid of it and do not replace it with Norton. See: http://forums.mcafeehelp.com/viewtop...e9e 72a7cddfd I use, and recommend, AVG Free: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5 or: http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/ww When prompted, choose Custom Installation and *uncheck* e-mail scanning when you see the option. Norton, and McAfee, products are not Outlook Express friendly, and I don't know of any OE-MVP that would recommend using them. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "SteveW" wrote in message ...
