Are you importing from OE? Then there's your problem. OE doesn't offer them
because they never included then in the import. Same with newsgroups as
well.

Now, if you use OEQB to restore the settings and message stores then they
will be there less the passwords.

If you're moving or copying the messages and settings to another computer,
do the following first.

1) Set up the messages sotres in OE to something like C:\Mail. Something
off the root drive. Win9x used Windows\ApplicationData or something like
that, I forget now where at this hour. Win XP sotres them in the Doc and
Settings\user account folder so this makes just doing a simple restore
from one to another a PITA and it's not my fault, I dion't write XP.

Create the folder C:\Mail

From OE, go to Tools | Options | Maintenance tab
Press the Store Folders button and change the location to C:\Mail
Now, exit OE and restart it.

When OE restarts, it will automatically move the message stores to the new
C:\Mail folder.

Create a backup folder such as C:\BackupMail in OEQB or own your own and set
OEQB to backup the files there.

Copy all the files from your backup folder to the new machine in the same
folder name (such as C:\BackupMail)(or other computer you wish to clone). If
you changed it just tell OEQB where the dbx files are located.

Now, do a restore fromOEQB and the settings and messages stores are restored
and things look like they do on the old or other machine.

Sounds complicated but it's not. Just takes a lot of words to type in to
explain it.
