Reviewing old dbx files?

If I want to look at my old messages which I have stored in another back up
folder how do I go about doing this?
If I bring it into Outlook Express will it just replace my current files
with the old ones?

thanks
D.

Safest and simplest way, IMHO, is to create another identity and import the
there.

Make sure the Read Only attribute is cleared for the dbx files, and
hopefully, you included Folders.dbx, or the import will likely fail and you
will have to bring them in manually.

You can manually import dbx files via the method in the last paragraph on
this page: www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx

My OEX program makes it easier, as you just have to point to the dbx file on
a CD to import it into your current message store. www.oehelp.com/OEX/
