Is there a way to configure smtp and pop email settings in Outlook Express
using either Hotmail or Yahoo setting? Please bear with me as I'm not really sure if this is the correct way to phrase this question. I would like to use Outlook Express (or Outlook) as my email program but prefer OE because of their newsgroups. I had Road Runner cable in the past but now I'm at a loss how to configure OE without those Road Runner's smtp and pop settings. I have AOL also but rarely use it. Thank you. -- Lee Lord |

In addition to what I posted about Hotmail (you need a "Hotmail Plus" account; $19.95 per year) and Yahoo! Mail (you need a "Yahoo! Mail Plus" account; $19.99 per year), AOL as an open access program for AOL accounts. You can find out how to configure MS Outlook Express to work with AOL mail her: http://postmaster.aol.com/imap/index.html -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
