Default Where did the contacts come from?

Hi.
I have some contacts which, AFAIR, I never wrote to or replied to.
Any idea how they were added?
TIA

Someone must have clicked Reply All in error to an e-mail that was sent to
you along with others.

You can go to Tools | Options | Send and uncheck: Automatically put people I
reply to in my Address Book to avoid this in the future.

Just to add, if you had: Automatically put people I reply to in my Address
Book checked and selected Reply All, even if you realized your mistake and
closed out, the addresses will have already been added even though you never
sent.
