recover outlook express contacts
 

hi..

i have had a PC fail and trying to restore email to outlook express.

the old pc's hard drive is intact and have retrieved the .dbx files and
loaded up email.
there is however some contacts missing.
apart from .wab files is there any other location that outlook express
stores contacts

Look for a file with the same name as the old *.wab file but named *.wa~ and
move it to a different folder. Rename it to a .wab file and try importing
from that.
