Default Outlook Express Error Messages

Getting error messages from Outlook Express:
When I access Outlook, I get a message that says - "There was a problem
switching folders, possibly because the folder was busy."
Then when I click on my Inbox and try to read an email - I get two(2) error
messages, "One or more parts of this message could not be displayed." And,
"There was an error opening this message, there is not enough memory."
The emails work OK when I read and send them from my Browser, this problem
is only with MS Outlook Express.

813514 - Troubleshooting error messages that you receive when you are using
Outlook and Outlook Express:

But it sounds like you have some corruption in your message store folder.
Try File/Folder/Compact All Folders while working offline so that the
compaction will not be interrupted by any polling for new messages. See if
that fixes your problem. If not, we need more details, such as operating
system in use, complete and exact text of any error message, etc.

Don't store messages in the Inbox. It is the folder most apt to be
corrupted. As soon as you read them move them to user created folders.
Then compact the Inbox regularly.

Go to Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store Folder and write down where OE
is storing its data.
Close OE.
Go there with Windows Explorer and move (not copy) Inbox.dbx to an empty
Windows
folder. With Win2K, WinXP and Win2K3 it will be a hidden file.

You can use either of these tools to extract the messages from the old DBX
file:

DBXtract ($5): http://www.oehelp.com/DBXtract/ although this tool is faster
and better:
DBXpress: ($25) http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/Default.aspx
Do NOT extract to the desktop!
With a large file this can take a long time, so let it keep running.

The messages can be dragged from a Windows folder back into an OE folder in
OE's Folder List.
