My neighbor's PC running WinXP with IE6 has suddenly developed a problem I
can't fix. When she clicks on 'Create New Message' - it opens up 'minimized' and goes directly to the task bar. You then must right click and left click on 'Maximize' to restore her new message screen to normality. I went looking for a box to uncheck which would have opened up new messages in minimized form. Couldn't find any way to restore opening up 'Create New Messages' in full screen mode. What do I do? James |

Right click on the minimized message on the Taskbar and select Move. Now use
the arrow keys to get it in the screen. Close all other windows except this one and use the cursor to drag the message to full screen size. FileExit, and Windows will remember the size when you open it again. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "James" wrote in message ... It is likely that the window is opening very small or off the screen
(perhaps behind the task bar). Do NOT use the Maximize option. A Maximize does not get remembered. Instead move/resize the window and then close it. That will get remembered. To get a window back on the screen, try this: - Use Alt/Tab to make it the active window - Press Alt/Space to get the control window for that application - Press M to select the Move option - Now you can use the arrow keys to move the window around the screen to get it properly in view - Press the Enter key when the window is where you want it If you need to resize a window, but can't use the mouse, try this: - Use Alt/Tab to make it the active window - Press Alt/Space to get the control window for that application - Press S to select the Size option - Now you can use the arrow keys to resize the window - Press the Enter key when the window is the size you want it -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "James" wrote in message ...
