Default Problem with Outlook Express

Outlook Express does not download my incoming mail unless i select the
down arrow beside Send/Recv and click on
Pop6. Sympatico.ca . How can i solve this. This way it never tells
me that i have new mail.

Tools | Accounts | Mail. Select the account in question, then Properties |
General tab. Check: "Include this account when..............".

Thanks for trying to help but i guess i did not express myself
properly.
The e-mail has already been downloaded but i cannot open it or see who
it is
from until i click on Send/Recv and then on Pop6.

How do you know it has been downloaded to your PC?

If you click on the Inbox folder, do you see the message listed in the
message list?

If so, what happens when you click on the message?
