Hi,

Is there a way in outlook express that I get new post's notification of the
posts/threads that I have marked as being "watched"? It would be excellent
if this can be done. In case this is not supported by outlook express, than
there must be some way to develop some code that maybe able to do it. I'm a
dev in C# language.

regards,

Ab.

No. The only way the newsgroup servers are polled is when you attempt to
access or synchronize that newsgroup/server. There is no external mechanism
that will do it for you but when synching a news server is complete any
responses to watched threads will cause the newsgroup name in the folder
list to turn red in color.

You can review the info and documentation for APIs for Outlook Express at
MSDN at this link:

Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped.
Thanks.
