I have a recurring problem when opening Outlook. I am running Windows XP
Home Edition. Every time I open Outlook, 4 reminders pop up. When I try to dismiss them, I get the window ‘Cannot turn off the reminder. You may be reminded again. Cannot locate recurrence information for reminder’. I have read earlier posts, and have tried to find the .pst files to fix them. I was unable to run outlook.exe/cleaneminders, getting the error message "Windows cannot find 'outlook.exe/cleanreminders'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." I also just tried to search for .pst files on the computer, but it couldn't find any. Can anyone help me? |

Put a space between Outlook.EXE and /cleanreminders. See if that works
better. "Mary Beth" wrote in message ... I have a recurring problem when opening Outlook. I am running Windows XP Home Edition. Every time I open Outlook, 4 reminders pop up. Did you close outlook and verify it was closed (task manager, processes tab)
before reopening it using the switch? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: "Mary Beth" wrote in message ... "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\Outlook.EXE" /cleanreminders "Mary Beth" wrote in message ... yes it is installed there. |

Out of curiosity, did it get rid of the error message about the program not
being found? "Mary Beth" wrote in message ... Tried this - did not solve the problem. |
