Default You cannot respond to a meeting without an organizer. You must add

I have accepted a recurring meeting for all weekdays. I am trying to decline
one occurrence of the meeting for a day that I will not be able to attend. I
open the occurrence, click Decline, click send the response now, and then OK
and I receive a message "You cannot respond to a meeting without an
organizer. You must add an Organizer field to the item."

The appointment clearly shows the organizer above the subject line before I
click Decline.

I am running Outlook 2003 (11.8217.8221) SP3 and have run Microsoft update
to ensure all updates are installed.

Any assistance or suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!

As a follow-up, I tried to perform the same action via OWA, and succeeded.

I am still interested in a fix for the regular Outlook software if anyone
has any suggestions.
