Hi there,
I am on Outlook 2007 and my company recently migrated to Exchange 2007. Initially I had access to the scheduling assistant, which was really handy! But all of a sudden I do not see it in my Outlook client. the weird thing is that I do see it when I go into OWA. What happened? Is there a setting they need to enable? Or is there something I can do about it myself? thanks! Lysia |

Do you have the scheduling assistant button on the ribbon, under the Show
group? How big is your appointment form? See http://www.xsolive.com/Outlook%20Scr...orm.aspx?ID=96 for the location of the button - if the window is large enough, it will be large (like Save & Close button) but if the window is small, it may be hidden under a button called Show (that looks like Options button) -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Hi Diane,
Thanks for your help. No, it isn't there - the button just says "Scheduling" like it did when we were on Exchange 2003. I'd post a screenshot but there doesn't seem to be a way to post attachments here. I'm wondering whether this could be something that our Exchange Administrators disabled on their end? It just seems odd that OWA has so much more robust functionality when it comes to calendaring... |

Can uoi upload a screenshot of the appointment form so we can see it? It
might give us a clue. If you don't have an upload site to use, xsolive.com has an outlook screenshot library you can use. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Diane, there is no place for me to upload a screenshot, as I mentioned in my
response from 3 days ago. None of the screenshots in that library of xsolive.com show my problem. What now? OK, I see now that on that xsolive site there is a way for me to login and
upload a screenshot. I uploaded one called "Lysia_calendar.png". As I mentioned in my first post, I am definitely on Outlook 2007, and in OWA I have access to the scheduling assistant, but not in my client. Thanks. I am also missing the scheduling assistant. I had originally created the
meeting as an appointment on my calendar as a placeholder. I then opened the appointement changed it to a LiveMeeting. I had a proposed meeting time response come in, and Outlook tells me to use the scheduling assistant, which is no longer in the ribbon. I've uploaded a screen clipping to your directory named jds_MissingScheduleAssistant. "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Can uoi upload a screenshot of the appointment form so we can see it? I'm working on a rollout project of Office 2007, and have exactly the same
problem with the missing Scheduling Assistant button. The weird thing is, is that on some Outlooks accounts I have access to, has the Scheduling Assistant and others have the old Scheduling button. Can anyone can shed light on why this is happening? I would be most grateful. Thank you. "JD Steampunk" wrote: I am also missing the scheduling assistant.
