Is it possible to disable all calendar reminders? I know I can set the
default in my calendar to not set a reminer, but appointments sent by others seem to pick up their reminder settings. |

Hi Mike,
I only know the way to export your calendar into an Excel sheet, then you can "delete" all flags for the reminder and then you can import the calendar items again. Maybe it helps. -- Oliver Vukovics Share Outlook without Exchange (Vista Ready): Public ShareFolder Synchronize Outlook between PC and Notebook: Public SyncTool http://www.publicshareware.com "Mike Beral" Mike schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... Thanks Oliver, however that would need to be done regularly, every time a new
appointment is added. Ideally I'd like to disable reminders completely. Thanks, Oliver. This article explains how to change the setting on
individual calendar entries, not to disable reminders for all entries (existing and future). The issue here is that even if I disable reminders on my own calendar entries, any that are received from other people as invitations will have reminders set based on the settings of the originator. if you don't want any reminders, even for your own events, see
http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2004/20041130.htm and turn off all reminders. if you want to remove them from incoming events, see if rules can do anything. if not, create a table view where you are not the organizer and events have reminders. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
