When I drag and drop an email message with an attachment into an appointment,
the attachment isn't there. The name of the attachment is there, but nothing opens. I'm pretty sure it used to work. Are there settings I can check to see if they've changed? |

No setting is involved. That's just the way Outlook works. To copy the
attachment would require a code solution. I've posted one for creating tasks from messages at http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx?id=959 and it could be adapted to creating appointments. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "veejaycee" wrote: When I drag and drop an email message with an attachment into an appointment, the attachment isn't there.
