Help: New appointments default to two days.
 

When I select the start time for new appointments, Outlook automatically sets
the end time on the next day. This leads to mistakes and wastes time.

(This seems to be different than the daylight savings time issue other
people have described where old appointments switch from one to two days.)

I'm using Outlook 2007 on Vista in a small office with a microsoft exchange
server.

Help: New appointments default to two days.
 

is your computer and exchange set for the same time zone?

Yes. I did just discover something new though that gives me a partial work
around: this problem only occurs when initiating a new event by click on the
calendar day. It doesn't happen when I click on the "new event" button.

clicking on a day in the month view makes and all day appointment by default
(12AM - 12AM this day). Uncheck the box and it should revert to the start
time of your workday. The New button creates new timed appointments.
