New behaviour.
Set up a Meeting. Its 4 hours long. Everything looks fine so I send it. When it shows up on MY calendar it has only blocked 1 hour. I opened it and edited it, and sent updates...nothing... Still shows as (1) one hour... Outlook 2007 Meeting started at 8am ended at 12noon |

The standard "Day/Week/month" view shows all the apointments as a 1hr
appointment at the start time with no indicator that they are longer. Only the "Availability" mode show the event durration on the calendar. I could have sworn that I used to have a day/week/month availability mode, but I can't find it... Yes and no..it was the day and week veiw...but they incorectly showed the
meeting durrations... It won't let me post an image of my calender here. So I will post it on my website in a hidden file. http://www.inspectionsbybob.com/documents/WrongView.doc BOTH pages are of the same days. Note the first one shows the events and the drive time as about an hour each. The Second View Is correct, with the drive time about a 1/2 hour and the appointments varring from 4 hours to 1 hour. The first view is very missleading and I don't know why anyone would use it. The First is the 2nd choice from the View Pulldown, Day/week/month. The next one is the Availability choice, which also has a day/week/month selection on the page. that's a limitation the 1 hour time scale. It needs more room to fit the
text into the view and squeezes the time into the little "pan handle" while expanding the rest to make room for the subject. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
