Three of my appointments this week, with no obvious connection between
them starting vanishing from my Outlook calendar. A search turns them up and if I edit them and save them, the reappear in my week view, only to vanish the next time I leave that week and go back to it. I have tried outlook /cleanviews. What next? Cheers Tom |

I can make the "invisible" entry pop into view by editing it and then have it disappear again as soon as I navigate away from that view and back again, even if the airset process has been killed. No, I have no view filters set. I've just clicked "clear all" filters

Hi Diane,
I am having similar issues with recurring, non-recurring or even just a self-reserved appointment. I use an iPhone that is USB connected to my XP Pro with Outlook 03 Pro. In the week/month views, some appointments are missing, I see all appointments when I change the Current View to By Catagory. Does Microsoft have any fix or work around? Microsoft doesn't have a workaround and AFAIK is not working on anything
because it's an apple problem. They released a new version if itunes on Fri that fixes some of the issues but the remaining problems will likely be a problem until an update for the v2 iphone software is released. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Hi Diane,
Thanks for your response.. I recognize that the problem is caused by Apple so I removed iTune, but the problem with Outlook still exist. I created a new profile, moved outlook to a different folder, cleared the form cache and deleted its associated .dat file and more.. The problem exist. Any suggestion of how to fix the problem in Outlook in isolation of iTunes which is removed and no syncing has taken place for the last week. We think the appointment itself is corrupted, so existing appointments may
not be corrected by removing it or reverting to the older version. One report I have is that after syncing using the new itunes (7.7.1.11), appointments do appear correctly in the side by side view but not in overlay mode. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Actually, they're not corrupted. Here is why:
1. Everything shows up in calendar archive folder that is moved off the exchange folder 2. Everything shows up when I UNCHECK " Use Cached Exchange Mode" Please, escalate this issue.
