Default best cell phone to snych with outlook?

I'm reading here about synching a motorola razr phone to outlook calendar and
contacts. Are there other phones that will do this? What's the best one?
I'm looking for a new one and really want this feature. P.S. I'm using
vista.

It probably depends on what service you use, but I've been using a Nokia 6555
on the AT&T network, and it seems to work fine. I've had some problems
synching, but that is more to due with using Windows 2000 Pro. The Nokia
software, PC Synch, is fairly easy to use is also compatible with a number of
other Nokia phones. (no, I do not work for either Nokia or AT&T).

My opinion is that a WIndows Mobile-based phone will work better than
others.

At least every phone with Windows Mobile 5 or newer should be fine.

It will ultimately depend on what synching software the phone uses and
whether it is supported on Windows Vista. All Windows Mobile version 5 and
above work just fine. You would need to check with Nokia and Palm (2 of the
better selling phones) to see about their compatibility.

Having said that, any phone that you buy today (recently manufactured)
should be able to synch with Windows Vista.

There is a lot of depends to answer your question. As some pointed out MS
Windows Mobile is great. I think v6 is the latest but there are still a few
phones that use v5. Perhaps the best thing to decide first is which phone
service provider do you want to use, for me there are a lot of limiting
factors and my choices narrow down to one serivice provider. Once you decide
on the service provider then see what phones they have. They usually have
two different types (1) standard types of phones and (2) PDA/Smart phones.
Most of the PDAs require extra service that cost an extra $30-$40 a month
(for my provider). Also you need to determine what features you want on your
phone, again this will limit what phone you will use. I'd love to have the
iPhone but AT&T service in my area is the pits.Things that are important to
me are sync all my contacts, calendar, notes and task, plus I want GPS
navigation. I don't do email and I don't want to browse the internet (this
in my thing). For me this narrowed down my choices to two phones, one may
not be able to contain all of my contact and the other does not have the GPS
navigation, thus I have a hard choice to make, thus I'm in a hold status for
a couple of months to see if the service provider releases a new phone that
meets my needs. My sons and daughter-in-laws use the black berry and love
them but I like the touch screens thus I did not like the black berry.

The phone I currently have is windows based and I've used it for over two
years, other than it bing the phone from hell it has served me well and the
sync works GREAT but I really look forward to replacing it.
