Creating a calendar note

My boss is on vacation nect week and his boss asked that he send a calendar
note to remind him that he'll be out of the office. Searched and cannot seem
to find info on this....

Send him email with the words, "my boss will be out of the office next
week". He can then drag it to his calendar and make it a multiday event
whose "Show time as" is set to "Free".
