Default Outlook Calendars and Public Folders

Hi there ...

I was just asked a question that I could not answer and thought I would post
it here for comments (Apologies if this was asked/answered before).

Here goes -

Is it possible to have a outlook resource (like a conference room or
projector) that is reserved when booking a meeting and that resource
automatically accepts the meeting request, to have that resource's calendar
show up in a public folder, so everyone can access this folder and determine
resource usage?
This is to circumvent the 'File' / 'Open' / 'Other User's Folder' .....
steps and get there in one (or two) click(s)

Any ideas around this would be awesome

Thanks
