Meeting Request Send to the wrong user

My apologies for cross-posting

Whenever a meeting request is sent to user1, the request is received by
user1. The strange thing is that the sender also receives a non-deliverable
email indicating that user2 was sent the message. User2 is no longer with
the company. This has been going on with Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003. I
suspect that the issue may be on the Exchange side. Any idea how to get rid
of user2 as part of the meeting request. It does happen on different
workstations. It doesn't seem to happen when sending a regular Email to user1.

Thanks In Advance

Sounds like one of those users is still a delegate of the other. Check the
delegation settings in AD.
