Outlook 2003 - forward calendar item shows odd date in body of for

We've just noticed that if you right click, and forward a calendar item that
you made weeks ago, or just a minute ago, the following appears in the body
of the forwarded message:

_____________________________________________
From: me
Sent: Friday, July 01, 2005 10:44 AM
Subject: test meeting
When: Thursday, October 18, 2007 1:00 PM-1:30 PM (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time
(US & Canada).
Whe

No matter who tries this - they get the same SENT date of Friday July 1,
2005 10:44 AM.

Can you make it happen?

Do you have sp2 or sp3 installed? Are you using Exchange server, if so, do

Try the following:

1. Click on the folder list view in Outlook.
2. Right click on the Calendar and select Properties.
3. On the General Tab, look for "When posting to this folder, use"
4. Change the setting to IPM.Appointment.
5. Try to create a new appointment and forward it.
