communicating with someone such as elspeth here who obviously needs a small course on basic computer skills, why don't you suggest just that as an alternative to scathing remarks? Sorry, but teaching someone how to use a news group is not part of my ethos. Either learn to use a news group and post properly or bug your friends. The first link tells someone how to post a question.
