Possibly because you have a Dell computer and there are known problems with an add-in they have? If so - search the groups for DELL and you'll find what to do. We have no idea what version you have and whether it is up to date on service packs. So it's pretty well impossible to help you - we can only make a few guesses. thanks Judy. i have browsed through dell posts, but haven't found any useful
information, so maybe you can point me in the right direction with my particulars on my system: and yes, it's a dell system; i also looked in add/remove programs, but there is no add in program listed. i have used detect and repair, and unistalled-reinstalled outlook to no avail. OS: windows 2000 outlook version: 2003 up to date from microsoft as of 7/27/7 thank you for your efforts "Judy Gleeson (MVP Outlook)" wrote: Steena Possibly because you have a Dell computer and there are known problems with an add-in they have? So the question we need to answer is when did it stop working? What
seemingly unrelated thing happened? Think back. Reoccuring stopped working
hi judy, this has been an exercise in futal fascination. I can only think of
one unusual thing that may have triggered this problem. i have recently started getting a pop up in outlook and excel about macros with the choice of disable/enabling. I am not using outlook as my default mail program either. Things that I've tried: "outlookpath" /cleanrules " /cleanfreebusy " /cleanfolders the result is the same; outlook email editor starts and puts the file outlook.pst in the attachment. is that the craziest thing or what? our administrator did a scan disk, virus check and defrag, but no errors were found.
