Live Search Maps for Outlook function doesn't work
 

I've installed the newest version today, 5.15.07, upon finding a notice
within Outlook for installing this plug-in. However, it had worked before
when I installed it last month. What was working before is not now working at
all.

By selecting the appointment and then "Location" what used to show up as a
map now shows a notice for how to get this plug-in. When I got to Tools
Options Other Advanced Options COM Add-Ins (and select) Live Search
Maps for Outlook, it will not stay selected. I will immediately return to
this selection only to see it deselected again. I use this function regularly
for my new appointments so it's been a week or more since I've used it.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Oh, I forgot to state the version I'm using: Outlook 2003.

I'm using Outlook 2007 and I'm having the same exact problem. I cant find the
"COM Add-Ins" selection in OL2007. Good Luck and if you find anything,
please post. I'll do the same.

Found the Com add-in. LSMFO is there but also wont stay checked and it says
its unloaded as well. How to load it? I dont know.

Thanks Milly. I did find that a little while ago and got it working. But,
Uless I go into 'Macro Security' and check 'Warnings For All Macros' and alow
it each time I open Outlook, it will disable again. Do you know anyway around

Under Tools-Trust Center-Add-ins, do you have the box checked to apply macro security to all installed add-ins? If yes, uncheck it.

Thanks again. I don't know what changed those settings from when it was
working fine after install. I hope this thread comes up on a search because I

I am having the same problem. I look under Tools, Trust Center, Add-ins. Live
Search Maps for Outlook was listed under Disabled Application Add-ins. How
do I enable it?
