How do I mass change recurrence pattern in Outlook 2007
I am wanting to import a birthday listing into Outlook 2007 calendar from a
csv file but, need to set the recurrnce pattern to yearly, is there a way to do that in the csv file or after the fact without pulling up each enty. Here are the current headers in my file Subject Start Date Start Time All day event Reminder on/off Reminder Date Reminder Time |

Here are the current headers in my file Subject Start Date Start Time All day event Reminder on/off Reminder Date Reminder Time There's no way to do it from the CSV, as far as I know. I was going to suggest that since birthdays are events (i.e., they last all day), you could display your calendar in the Events view and then select the birthdays and drag them to the "Yearly" category to make them yearly events, but when I tried it, even though they were added to the "Yearly" category, they didn't actually become yearly until I opened them, clicked the "Recurrence" button, then clicked OK. Then they became weekly events. So, it appears that you must open each. -- Brian Tillman |
