Hi
I have exchange 2003 and some outlook 2003 clients. They all have aoto complete option selected, and suggest addresses. On one client I get a full list of email addresses come up when starting to type. On 3 others I get a partial list of very recently used addresses. I can't spot the difference in their settings. Auto Complete in Outlook only works against previously typed entries, so the
one client where you get a longer list must have had more entries typed into it so far than the others have. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "Matt" wrote: Hi I have exchange 2003 and some outlook 2003 clients. Hi
thanks for the response. Can you tell me if the list resets itself on rebooting? Matt "Matt" wrote: Hi I have exchange 2003 and some outlook 2003 clients. As Brian said, it shouldn't...but if you are having a lot of trouble with it,
you might rename the .NK2 file (which holds the AutoComplete cache) to ..NK2.OLD and let Outlook create a fresh .NK2 file next time it's opened. It might work more reliably then. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "Matt" wrote: Hi thanks for the response. Is there a function which automatically suggests names from contacts?
